About me

Hi i’m Imogen and i’m a London based mono print designer. With a background in digital design and development, I use the world of mono printing to explore my analogue side!

All my designs and products start life as paint on paper – some stay as original mono prints and some become digitised and then new products. Please have a look around and get in touch if you’d like to know more or commission a print.

What is mono-printing?

Mono-printing compared to say screen printing essentially just means ‘one’ print. There will only ever be one version of something – even if the subject stays the same, no print will ever be the same. This is different to more traditional printing techniques like screen printing where the point is to produce lots of the same thing.

Mono-printers usually use a silicone plate to make the prints, and a mix of using stencils (mine are usually made out of paper) and painting directly onto the plate to produce the print.
